Enjoy spending a few nights in a real historic home.
Wilton House is a 1763 Georgian colonial house sited on 25 serene rural acres, located near the Chesapeake Bay about 45 minutes from Williamsburg, Virginia. The 4,000 square foot house is furnished with period 18th and 19th century American and English antiques. Recognized as one of the best preserved examples of 18th century architecture in all of Virginia, Wilton is for lovers of old homes and history. It’s a little like living in a museum of history but with all modern conveniences.
There is nothing quite like Wilton House. An exquisitely preserved 18th century manor brimming with historical authenticity, furnished with period antiques. A place for a quiet retreat with friends or as a base for touring historic Virginia with the family. The kids will love the 19th century log cabin, with a special loft sleeping area, and the 1840’s workers cabin, with its dual fireplaces. It’s like living in a museum of history but with all the modern creature comforts.
The home has 3 bedrooms, can accommodate 6 people and the parlour fireplace is operable. Discounts available for extended stays.
