About Waller Mill Park
Waller Mill Park is a 2,705-acre park located between I-64 and Route 60 West. The centerpiece to the park is a 360-acre lake that is perfect for fishing, boating, kayaking and more. Explore the park’s scenic trails or simply relax and have a picnic under the sun.
Things to Do at Waller Mill Park
On land or in the water, there’s plenty to do at Waller Mill Park. The spacious park features boat rentals, hiking trails, a disc golf course, picnic shelters, a dog park, playground for children, boat and kayak ramp, fishing pier, ball fields and a boat house store.
Fishing at Waller Mill Park
Waller Mill Park’s lake is filled with largemouth bass, striped bass, perch, brim, crappie and more. Rods and reels are available for rent at the boat house store. There you can also purchase bait and tackle. A valid fishing license is required to cast a line at Waller Mill Park. The park’s fishing docks are wheelchair accessible.
Disc Golf at Waller Mill Park
Bring your family and friends to Waller Mill Park for a day of disc golf. The park has an 18-hole disc golf course that is perfect for all ages. There are nine holes for beginners. This terrain is easier to walk and it’s a shorter distance between holes. The full 18-hole course is great for advance players looking for a challenge.
Waller Mill Park Trails
Traverse the wooded hiking trails at Waller Mill Park. You can take a six-mile stroll along a path that goes by the water. There is also a two-mile paved bike trail that connects Mooretown and Rochambeau Roads. Walk along the bike trail and you’ll come across the Lookout Tower that offers panoramic views of the water and woods.

Waller Mill Park also hosts events throughout the summer and special events during the year. Take kayaking classes, disc golf lessons and more during summertime. Mark your calendar for the Memorial Mile over Memorial Day weekend, the Kid’s Fishing Derby in June and Canine Carnival in October.

Waller Mill Park has varying hours throughout the year. The park typically opens at 7 p.m. or 8 a.m. and closes between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Entrance Fees
It costs $2 per vehicle to enter Waller Mill Park. An annual pass can also be purchased for $25.
