June 17- August 14, 2022 
Nightly Fireworks at Busch Gardens Williamsburg Summer Nights 
Bigger Thrills, Brighter Nights. Feel the spark after dark during Busch Gardens® Summer Nights. Cool down during the day with thrilling world-class coasters, water rides, shows and all-new cool zones. Then, turn up the fun as fireworks light up the sky. The fun doesn’t stop there as special evening entertainment, DJs, lit coasters and culinary experiences create a whole new park after dark.

Monday, July 4, 2022 
Lights of Freedom at the Governor’s Palace 
Colonial Williamsburg has a lot to offer on the Fourth of July—a day for family, friends, fun and fireworks! From reenactments of famous historical events to hot air balloon rides, there is something for everyone. The revelry concludes with a spectacular Lights of Freedom fireworks display guaranteed to fill all present with patriotic fervor.

Monday, July 4, 2022 
Spectacular Fireworks Display over the York River 
The entire community is invited to celebrate Yorktown’s 43rd Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 4. This free family-friendly event has activities on Historic Main Street and also at the waterfront at Riverwalk Landing. At 9:15 p.m. there will be a spectacular fireworks display over the York River. Visible from the Yorktown Waterfront and Victory Monument. 

Saturdays—December 3, 10 and 17, 2022
Colonial Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination 
Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. Programming includes an appearance by Father Christmas, a dramatic presentation of an original holiday story and 18th-century Yuletide music. Pyrotechnic displays at the Governor’s Palace and Capitol building will wrap up the evening’s celebrations.
