Here are the seasonal events you can enjoy during the fall at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Howl-O-Scream

Fall officially begins at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with the park’s annual Howl-O-Scream. This frightful, (select nights) month-long event, from Sept. 6-Nov. 3, 2024, features haunted houses with monsters lurking around every corner, themed scare zones, escape rooms and entertaining live shows.

As you explore the park after dark, make your way (if you dare) through Busch Gardens’ six “terror-tories.” Within each “terror-tory” are lively shows and performances, haunted houses, spooky bars and more.

Head to one of the party zones, at Fool’s Court (France) and Garden of Souls (Italy), to dance to the spooky sounds the DJ is playing. In Germany, you can see the Wilkommenhaus transform into a more Halloween-appropriate building every 15 minutes using projection mapping

The Count’s Spooktacular

On Saturdays and Sundays, from Sept. 21-Nov. 3, 2024, let the kids come out for their own “not-too-spooky fun” during The Count’s Spooktacular. Head to the Sesame Street Forest of Fun, an area of Busch Gardens dedicated to children and their families, for a kid-friendly Halloween celebration before the frights of Howl-O-Scream begin.

The Count’s Spooktacular will feature a hay maze, trick-or-treating, an interactive Halloween-themed show and all of your favorite Sesame Street characters.

Each weekend of The Count’s Spooktacular features a different theme with different characters. Children will have a chance to dance, party and take pictures with their favorite Sesame Street characters, including Elmo, Grover, Rosita, Bert, Ernie and more.
