High-Thrill Rides

A legendary snow monster has been spotted at Busch Gardens. Board Alpengeist, a ski-lift-style roller coaster that sends you through six inversions during this dynamic, high-speed ride.
Hold on to your seats when you ride Apollo’s Chariot. This award-winning hypercoaster features of nine hair-raising air-time hills. The ride’s elevated seating creates a free-flight sensation as you reach speeds of up to 73 miles per hour.
The newest ride to Busch Gardens Williamsburg is Finnegan’s Flyer. This “screamin’ swing” ride soars riders over the Ireland neighborhood. You’ll reach a height of over 80 feet as you swing back and forth.

One of the world’s tallest dive coasters, Griffon provides an elevated experience by removing the floor beneath you. Riders plunge 205 feet, going 75 miles per hour, during this heart-stopping ride.
Grab your Viking helmet as you prepare to ride InvadR. This is Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s first wooden roller coaster.
Loch Ness Monster is the world’s first interlocking, double-looping roller coaster. With over 3,000 feet of steel track, riders will zoom in the air, through a dark cave and over water.
Take in some of the best views of the park before free falling 240 feet. Mäch Tower slowly climbs to the top, allowing you to take in the scenery, then drops riders at a speed of 60 miles per hour.
Recreate the death-defying stunts of an Italian daredevil aboard Tempesto. This multi-launch coaster reaches speeds of 63 miles per hour and features a 154-foot inversion.
A ride on Verbolten is an experience like no other. This multi-launch, indoor and outdoor coaster sends riders racing through the Black Forest then into total darkness. The ride uses several elements, including light and sound effects, to create a roller coaster experience you won’t soon forget.

Make sure to head to Ireland to experience Busch Gardens’ virtual reality ride, Battle for Eire. This 360-degree motion-based simulator ride brings a fairy adventure to life.
