Busch Gardens Williamsburg Water Rides

Busch Gardens Williamsburg has three water rides at the park. These water rides are open until Labor Day weekend, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy them during the summertime.

All three water rides are a medium-thrill level, and are perfect for the whole family.

Escape from Pompeii

Visit Italy for your chance to take a boat ride through the ruins of ancient Pompeii. The ride begins calm until Mt. Vesuvius begins to erupt. To escape, your boat will plunge into the pool below as fire flashes around you.

To achieve a bigger splash at the end of the ride, make sure the boat is full.

Escape from Pompeii has a minimum height requirement of 42 inches.

Roman Rapids

Right next to Italy, in Festa Italia, your water chariot awaits. Experience the thrill of white-water rapids right here at Busch Gardens. You’ll twist and turn as you ride through Roman ruins, past erupting geysers and under waterfalls.

Le Scoot

From Italy, journey to a charming rustic village in France. Hop into a log flume and ride through an old saw mill. The ride features mild speeds and dips leading up to a 50-foot vertical drop.

Le Scoot has a minimum height requirement of 46 inches.
