About the Williamsburg Lodge
Originally opened in 1939, the Williamsburg Lodge provided accommodations to travelers going to Williamsburg. The Lodge was one of the first Colonial Williamsburg hotels constructed under the guidance of John D. Rockefeller Jr.
Today, the Lodge is comprised of several building, including the main building, South Hall and Tazewell Hall. The Williamsburg Lodge strives to provide its guests with a convenient and comfortable experience. The Williamsburg Lodge oozes classic Virginia style through the warm wood and colorful fabrics in the décor.
Williamsburg Lodge Room & Suites
The Williamsburg Lodge has 323 guest rooms that have been furnished with décor inspired by collections at the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum. Many rooms in the Williamsburg Lodge main building still have the original hardwood floors.
Standard Guest Rooms
There are two styles of standard guest rooms at the Williamsburg Lodge, one with a queen-sized bed and one with a king bed. These 325-square-foot rooms feature a mini refrigerator, flat screen TV and a coffee maker.
Deluxe Rooms
Those looking for a more spacious room can book one of the 400-square-foot deluxe rooms. Choose from either a room with two queen beds or one king-sized bed. In addition to the coffee maker, mini refrigerator and flat screen TV, the deluxe rooms also come with a comfortable pull out sofa.
Premium Rooms
The premium rooms are located in the renovated Tazewell Hall. These room, depending on which you book, have additional features that rooms in the main building do not. With your choice of either a king bed or two queen beds, your premium room also showcases a comfortable living area and scenic outdoor patio in addition to the standard amenities. For a cozy and rustic stay, book the premium king room. You get the same beautiful outdoor patio and living area, with the added bonus of a crackling fireplace in your room.
Suites
Enjoy some of the comforts of home in one of the Williamsburg Lodge’s spacious suites. The Queen Junior Sweet and the King Suite are 500 square feet and 600 square feet, respectively. The Queen Junior Suite features a separate living room, while the King Suite boasts a separate living room and dining room. The suites also include the standard room amenities.
