Wine and Dine at the Williamsburg Inn

During your stay at the Williamsburg Inn, you’ll have access to the pristine golf course and full-service spa. However, you don’t have to stay at the Inn to enjoy a meal at the fantastic on-site restaurants.
Experience fine dining cultivated by award-winning chefs in an elegant setting at the Rockefeller Room. For more casual eats inspired by classic American cuisine, visit the Terrace and Goodwin Rooms. Or, have a drink and small bites, overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, at The Social Terrace. Choose from one of Williamsburg Inn’s restaurants and bars for a dining experience that fits your mood and appetite.
Rockefeller Room
Modern fine dining blends with the evolution of American cuisine at the Rockefeller Room. Maintaining the Williamsburg Inn’s upscale and regal style, the dishes served at the Rockefeller Room are high end while honoring the culinary traditions of the area.
The dinner menu is heavily influenced by local seafood and Southern dishes. Begin your meal with oysters on the half shell or crab cakes. Main dishes include seared rockfish and cider-brined pork chops. The restaurants namesake dish, The Rockefeller Steaks, are prime cuts of beef and feature additions like a lump crab cake, shrimp or lobster.
Be sure to save room for one of the Rockefeller Room’s decadent desserts like the croissant bread pudding, melting chocolate cake, cardamom cheesecake and more. Or, finish your meal with a French-press coffee or a glass of dessert wine.
Enjoy brunch on Sundays and special holidays, including Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Mother’s Day. The Rockefeller Room’s brunch is a la carte and the menu features a number of brunch cocktails and coffees. The restaurant puts their spin on classic brunch entrees, such as eggs benedict, Croque Madame, French toast and more.
With such upscale dishes served in an exquisite dining room, you’ll certainly want to look your best. The recommended dress code for the Rockefeller Room is business casual.

The Rockefeller room is open daily from 5:30–8 p.m. Brunch is served from 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Terrace & Goodwin Rooms
Providing a more relaxed and casual setting than the Rockefeller Room, the Terrace and Goodwin Rooms serve up the Williamsburg Inn’s contemporary take on classic American dishes. These family-friendly restaurants are split between two of the Inn’s beautifully decorated rooms.
Begin your mornings with breakfast, including refreshing fruit smoothies, coffee, baked goods pancakes, breakfast meats and eggs any style, at the Goodwin Room. The Goodwin Room also offers early risers dishes like shrimp and grits, a croissant breakfast sandwich and more.
Don’t miss brunch at the Goodwin Room, offering a more expansive brunch menu than the Rockefeller Room.
Across the hall, the Terrace Room serves up lunch and dinner. The Terrace Room’s menu features a wide variety of traditional dishes with a more lavish twist. Start your meal with an appetizer like a charcuterie board, oyster stew or seasonal soup. Then, choose from salads, sandwiches and main entrees. Finish your meal with a dessert, including the sticky toffee pudding or cookie tray.
Before or after your meal, relax and enjoy a drink at the Restoration Bar. The cocktail menu features cocktails from the golden age along with small bites.
The dress code for the Terrace and Goodwin Rooms are casual, allowing you to loosen up while enjoy a fantastic meal.

The Goodwin Room is open daily from 7:30–11 a.m. The Terrace Room is open Sunday–Thursday from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
The Social Terrace
On a beautiful day, grab a drink and a bite to eat on The Social Terrace, Williamsburg Inn’s outdoor patio bar and restaurant. This large, 7,000-square-foot terrace is the perfect way to dine or imbibe outside. The patio showcases panoramic views of the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.
Enjoy handcrafted cocktails, wine by the glass and beer, as well as dishes to share, flatbreads, entrees and dessert. Stop by for the Social Hours when you can enjoy a limited menu of flatbreads, wines and domestic beers. The Terrace Pairing option gives you the choice of a flatbread and a glass of wine or beer for just $14.

The Social Terrace is open from 3–9:30 p.m. Social Hours are Monday–Thursday from 4–6 p.m.
Tidewater Tuesday at the Williamsburg Inn
Every Tuesday at the Terrace Room, Restoration Bar and Social Terrace celebrate the best of Virginia food, wine and beer. Sip on locally-made wine from Williamsburg Winery and Barboursville Vineyards or craft beer from Alewerks Brewing Company. Then, indulge in some of the area’s best seafood offerings, including oysters, crab and beer-battered fish.
