Join us for a virtual lecture with author and historian John V. Quarstein as he presents on how the Emancipation Proclamation changed the meaning and purpose of the Civil War. This presentation is part of a statewide museum initiative to commemorate both the end of the Civil War and slavery in the Commonwealth.
