When visiting Yorktown, there are many ways to get around the historic city. Drive, walk or take the Yorktown Trolley. The Yorktown Trolley is one of the best ways to see the city and get to a number of popular attractions, including Riverwalk Landing.

This FREE air-conditioned service will take you from the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center all the way to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, making several convenient stops along the way including Yorktown Beach and Riverwalk Landing. Each trolley is ADA accessible.
About the Yorktown Trolley
There are several stops along the Yorktown Trolley’s route, starting at Yorktown Battlefield Visitors Center and ending at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Stops in between including: the Victory Monument, historic Main Street, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown Beach, Watermen’s Museum and the Courts and Office Complex. The trolley route takes about 20–35 minutes to compete. For convenience, riders are encouraged to download the SPOT ETA app which provides an estimated wait time at each stop.
When you take the Yorktown Trolley, you don’t have to worry about finding parking, especially near Yorktown’s charming waterfront. The trolley gives visitors the option of simply sitting back and taking in the sights when they are in Yorktown.
Each trolley is ADA accessible and features an infotainment system that highlights details about upcoming events in Yorktown, along with promotions from local businesses. The Yorktown Trolley is also air conditioned which is perfect for getting around on a hot summer’s day.

Here is the 2022 schedule for the Yorktown Trolley.
April 1 – May 26 (Daily) – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May 27 – September 5 (Daily) – 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
September 6 – November 20 (Daily) – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
November 25 – December 18 (Fri, Sat & Sun only) – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
