January 12: Friendly Hours at The Mariners’ Museum and Park
The Mariners’ Museum and Park invites guests with mobility, cognitive or physical challenges to experience the museum in a less crowded environment during Friendly Hours. Friendly Hours, from 9–11 a.m., will feature reduced sound and lighting. Admission is just $1 for all to attend. Space is limited so register in advance.

January 16–19: Winter Blues Jazz Fest
The sixth annual Winter Blues Jazz Fest takes place primarily in the Merchants Square area of Williamsburg. The four-day event, over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, has something for everyone. The weekend will include an event at The Williamsburg Winery, Mixology & Music, the Art of Jazz event, Gospel Brunch and more.

January 18: Artifact Adventures at Historic Jamestowne
Meet archaeologists, participate in hands-on activities and explore the Jamestown Rediscovery artifact museum during Artifact Adventures at Historic Jamestowne. Activities include artifact sorting and picking with a Jamestown Rediscovery conservator, along with washing and processing artifacts with an archaeologist. Artifact Adventures is free with paid admission to Historic Jamestowne.
January 25: Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra Cabaret & Cocktails
Singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway joins the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra in a night of Cabaret & Cocktails at the Williamsburg Lodge. Experience performances from the past century of song, featuring hits by Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt and more.
January 30-February 2: W&M Global Film Festival
The William & Mary Global Film Festival (GFF) is four days of films, special guests, workshops and receptions right here in Williamsburg. The intimate festival offers festival goers exclusive access to some of the best films from around the world, as well as their filmmakers, actors, producers and more.
