Sept. 1, 2021: Summer Breeze Concert Series
If you’re still holding on to the taste of sweet summertime, then attend the last concert in this awesome live music series. Gates open at 5 pm and the show is free for the general public. Party fins, a Jimmy Buffet-genre band, will be performing on the lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.
Dive Into History in Colonial Williamsburg
Colonial Williamsburg is one of the top places for people of any age to learn and explore. Sept. 3-6, 2021: Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest
This is the last weekend to be able to able to enjoy 100 different beers that are tapped throughout the park at Busch Gardens. Bier Fest blends the craft beer scene with an Oktoberfest twist and features live entertainment, specialty brews, beer-infused bites and, on Friday and Saturday nights, a firework show.

Oct. 2, 2021: Yorktown Wine Festival
It’s wine-o’clock in Yorktown, our sister city that is just right around the corner. Their annual wine fest will feature live music, cuisine from local restaurants, VA’s finest spirits from local distilleries and works presented by talented artisans. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
Explore Haunted Williamsburg
It’s no secret that Williamsburg is famous for it’s chilling experiences and haunted grounds – and what better time to go than during spooky season? The haunted tours in Williamsburg are suitable for ages 8 and up and children must be accompanied by an adult. This one-hour candlelit walking ghost tour is open to the public every day and you must purchase a ticket for entry.

Food & Wine Festival
Park guests can unleash their inner foodie with over 60 specialty food items from around the world, 30 different wines, 25 craft beers and 20 unique cocktails not normally served at the park.
Busch Gardens becomes a cooler place after dark during Summer Nights. Special entertainment, culinary experiences and a fun nighttime atmosphere will give guests a new reason to visit during summer evenings. The Royal Palace Theatre lights up with Spark, presented by Coca-Cola, a high-energy spectacle featuring party-starters, laser lights, pyrotechnics and a custom soundtrack created by award-winning musicians.

If you are looking for more outdoor entertainment your child will love, there are plenty of other activities in and around Williamsburg. Set aside a day for thrills at the local amusement park where you will find the tallest and fastest dive coaster in the world as well as an entire area with rides, entertainment and dining designed specifically for kids.
Spend an afternoon at the area’s only treetop adventure that no chimp will soon forget! Go Ape’s easy and safe course built for all ages allows you and your child to explore the treetops of Freedom Park using zip lines, obstacles and Tarzan swings. Those who participate will have the chance to live daringly—while treading lightly—and witness one of the most beautiful places in Virginia from a bird’s-eye view.
Perhaps you would like to race your way to fun at Williamsburg’s only go-kart course. Grab the kids and get into gear at Go-Karts Plus where the kids can be the ones behind the wheel for the day. How about letting your child step inside a real-life video game? Laser tag has always been a popular activity for kids, but Williamsburg offers laser tag on steroids! With lightweight and simple to use laser tag guns, your kids will love working as a team to complete their mission of receiving the highest score.
