Every year, USA Today 10Best puts out a comprehensive list of Readers’ Choice Awards. Among the categories is “America’s Best Amusement Park.” For 2019, Busch Gardens Williamsburg earned the tenth spot on the list.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Tenth in Rankings for “Best Amusement Park” for 2019

The experts who compiled the rankings for “Best Amusement Park” are made up of theme park reviewers, writers and aficionados. Busch Gardens Williamsburg was named tenth for the park’s beautiful scenery and European-themed neighborhoods filled with exciting rides and attractions. Busch Gardens was also recognized as the “World’s Most Beautiful Park” by the National Amusement Park Historical Association, for the 29th consecutive year.

Last year, in 2019, Busch Gardens celebrated the opening of Finnegan’s Flyer™, a high-flying Screamin’ Swing attraction in the Ireland village. Finnegan’s Flyer is the newest addition to the park’s over 50 thrilling rides.

In addition to Busch Gardens’ rides, the park is also known for its award-winning shows, family-friendly attractions and year-round events.

2020 is gearing up to be another great year for Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The park’s new Pantheon roller coaster was named of the “10 Most Anticipated Roller Coasters of 2020” by USA Today. The record-breaking new ride, set to open spring of 2020, is a multi-launch coaster that reaches speeds of up to 72.5 miles per hour.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg will open for the 2020 season on Sunday, March 15. The park will be open from 10 a.m.–8 p.m., then resume its daily opening and operating schedule on Friday, March 27.
