Experience the ghosts, the history of Williamsburg. This must see candlelight walk will educate and entertain your entire family. Your costumed Historic Ghost Walk guide will lead you through the historical streets of Williamsburg by candlelit lantern and bring late 18th Century Williamsburg "alive".
You will meet your Historic Ghost Walk guide in front of the Cheese Shop in Colonial Williamsburg. The walks will be held November through March, Saturdays only, at 8:15 pm. April through May, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 pm. June through October 8:15 pm nightly. Reservations for 8 or more are available any nights.

The Mariners’ Museum is one of the largest and most comprehensive maritime history museums in the world. Located just 20 minutes from Williamsburg in Newport News, the Mariners’ illustrates the spirit of seafaring adventure through a renowned and strikingly diverse collection of maritime artifacts, including figureheads, ship models, decorative arts, and international small craft.
The remains of one of the most famous ships in history, the Civil War ironclad USS Monitor, have a permanent home in the USS Monitor Center. This dramatic 63,500-square-foot facility lets visitors be a part of the action in a high-technology battle theater, walk the deck of a full-scale Monitor replica, experience interactive exhibits, and see artifacts like the iconic rotating gun turret.
