18th century Williamsburg is when America first developed its ideals for freedom. Celebrate our nation’s birth in Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area. The living history museum will have a number of free and ticketed events to enjoy, including hands-on activities, musical performances and a firework show to end the day.

All American July 4th

Yes Williamsburg will host an all-American Fourth of July celebration on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. The family-friendly event will feature an old-fashioned egg toss, live music and hot air balloon rides.

Why not spend your Fourth of July on a camping trip in Williamsburg? Williamsburg KOA will be celebrating America’s birth with a Fantastic Fourth of July Week celebration. From July 1–8, campers can have some patriotic fun at nearby attractions and right on the campground.

Set to lively and often patriotic music, there are several places where you can catch a dazzling firework display in the Williamsburg area. Both Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens Williamsburg will be lighting up the sky on July 4.
